Brennan is 8 months old!!!

8 Months Old!!!

Our sweet little monkey is 8 months old now. 

Size:
Brennan is wearing 3 - 6 months onesies, 3- 6 month pants and 6 - 12 month one piece outfits. I think we will be out of 3 - 6 months by the end of February.  Brennan is now in a size 3 diaper. 

Development:
Brennan goes from sitting to a rocking position and rocks back and forth  We think he will be crawling soon.  When I hold up Brennan, he stands flat footed.  He loves rolling places.  He has 2 bottom teeth.  Brennan is very talkative, he loves to blow raspberries and say "da da da da da."  Brennan is also great at grabbing toys when he is sitting and then coming back to a sitting position.  He also is very good at picking up toys and banging them together.  He also is very interested in the dogs and will just stare at them.  He tries to grab Pedro when he walks by. 

Personality:
Brennan is a very easy going baby.  He loves to hug and cuddle.  He is such a sweetie!  We are very blessed.  He also loves everyone.

Eating:
During this month, we have been eating bananas, butternut squash, and avocado.  Brennan loves his solids, he eats two meals a day.  He is also taking about 4 bottles each 6 ozs.  He is eating 1 bottle of breast milk, I breastfeed him in the morning and the rest of his bottles are formula.  I am in the process of weaning him.

Sleeping:
I think Brennan is a great sleeper.  He sleeps through the night.  He normally sleeps 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.  Naps are a different story, he doesn't nap great at daycare.  He takes 3 naps:

Morning Nap- 30 mins
Lunch Nap- 1 hour or more
Afternoon Nap - 30 - 40 mins

Likes:
Brennan's favorite thing is jumping!  We actually bought a jumperoo because I got tired of holding him so he can jump.  He also loves skyping with Grandma and Grandpa Small.  He is always trying to grab the iPad.  He loves to eat bananas.  Some other favorite things he loves are cuddling and giving hugs.  He LOVES swimming.  That is Dave's favorite part of the week. 

Dislikes:
Brennan does not like getting his nose cleaned.  He also does not like getting into his sleep sack at night.
